Well I spent the weekend with Jeff (my boyfriend)
and my good friend from school Dawn. Each night we crawled into bed together
and cuddled...sigh...its so sad when people leave!!! Its hard to get used
to an empty bed! Dawn and I were singing the song above all day yesterday
and most of today...so I thought it appropriate to add to this entry. We
went clubbing, and eating this weekend mostly (mmm...I love to eat out!!!)
Now I have work to look forward to in the morning...sigh...well all good
things must end I guess!!!

Thursday January 14, 1999 (again)
I'm back...and snowed in!!! How romantic huh? I
was sent home from work today...they told me...all non-essential personal
were to go home...sigh... I know I don't do anything but they didn't have
to call me "non-essential" LOL!!!! Its very cold in Toronto right
now (-23 with wind chill) and we are getting lots of snow. Our subway system
is up and down sporadically, and the train system into the city is down.
I was watching the news and they said the city has spend over 14 million
dollars on the storm and that they hired some 200 outside contractors to
assist in snow removal!!!
And now for the heart warming story
of the day....
Yesterday, as I was walking home from work (an
hour and a half walk in the cold) this nice lady stopped her car and asked
me if I wanted a ride to where I was going. I declined but only because
I heard my mom in the back of my head saying "don't get into strangers
cars". I just thought I'd mention it cuz I was very impressed...I didn't
think nice people lived in big cities anymore!! LOL! So here's my marching
orders for the rest of the month...be nice to someone, even if its just
a well placed smile or holding a door or hugging a friend, cuz its contagious
and you never know, it just might make someone's day!! :)
(If I had a digital camera I'd take a picture of
myself laying naked
in the snow...but alas...I don't so I guess you will all have to wait...at
least untill someone buys me a good digital camera...LOL!!)

Well, its 1:05 am here and I just made the decision
to create a webpage. So far the page isn't much, but hopefully in the future
I'll be able to add some cool stuff to get you all comming back! I guess
probably the best thing to do right now is to do the introduction thing
so here it is......
There I am!!! Well anyway, I am 19 and a student
at the University of Waterloo (in engineering in case you are wondering).
Right now though I am living in Toronto with my buddy Tommy (some of you
out there probably know him, and maybe even got here through his site!)
on a co-op work term working for one of the major Canadian banks!
Actually having mentioned Tommy I should probably
tell you all that he is my inspiration for creating this page. I have seen
the delight he gets from sharing his feelings and opinions with others and
I thought to myself "How come he gets to complain to everyone and I
don't!!?". At the moment, I really don't have anything to complain
about....but before weeks end I should think of something!!! LOL!
As far as content goes, I am not too sure. I'll
definately be sharing some of the things I find cool in life, talking about
the things I do and the people I meet. Of course getting the perspective
of a gay engineering student (did I forget to mention I am gay!) who is
in University but working in Toronto living with a straight (or omnisexual...depends
on who you ask) roomate is reason enough to keep comming back. I suggest
you bookmark this page...cuz it could be a wild ride!!!
Now...what do I want from all of you...just active
participation. One thing I don't want is for me to do all the talking (one
of my bad habits) so co-operate, and tell everyone you meet about this wonderful
